Support for children and young people

If someone has committed a crime against you and you are a child or a young person, the Crime and You website may be able to help. This website is run by Victim Support Scotland who have staff that may be able to help you. Their telephone helpline is 0845 603 9213. It is important that you talk to someone who you trust about what has happened to you. Remember, what has happened to you is not your fault.

If you are a witness to a crime, click here to get into a website which has lots of information which can help young people. It tells you what can be done to help you if you have to give evidence. The website also gives information about the people who look after you and what may happen.
