Victims of rape and sexual assault
If you have been raped or sexually assaulted you do not have to cope on your own. There are many services that can help both men and women, regardless of whether or not the crime has been reported. They know how difficult it is for people to come forward and they will respect and believe you. Please remember you are not to blame. The person who raped or assaulted you is to blame.
If you need to speak to someone, phone the Rape Crisis Scotland National Helpline on 08088 01 03 02 (daily 6 pm-12 midnight).
